2025 Girls Fall Lacrosse 1st-8th Grade

Description: MLAX is fielding teams for 2025 Fall Lacrosse for girls entering grades 1-8. Teams will practice 1x per week, and finish the season with a tournament day on 10/19. Become a stronger player and a better teammate through weekly practices that focus on: (1) mastering fundamentals and developing skills; and (2) implementing the skills you learn through competitive scrimmages and games. We welcome all skill levels from beginner to advanced. No prior experience needed. Equipment is available to borrow. Don't miss this fall fun with your friends!

Practices: Girls will practice on Sundays 9/7 through 10/5 at Stagecoach field or Marshdale field.

      • 1-2 grade 1:30-2:30 pm
      • 3-5 grade 2:30-4:00 pm
      • 6-8 grade 4:00-6:00 pm

Games: All teams will participate in a competitive game day on Sunday 10/19 at the Cougar Sixes tournament at Evergreen High School fields. Teams will also scrimmage during practices. Other optional scrimmages, games, and tournament opportunities may become available during the season.

Uniform: All players will receive a reversible Mountain pinnie/jersey. No additional uniform is needed for the fall league.

Registration Fees: $145 (to cover league fees including sixes tournament registration, EPRD field usage fees, and field equipment). In addition, every player must have a US Lacrosse membership for insurance and liability purposes. Players without a US Lacrosse membership may sign up for one during the registration process. The membership will last for 1 year and will cover you through our winter/spring programs as well.

Equipment: Players are required to have a girls' lacrosse stick, approved girls' lacrosse protective eyewear (goggles or headgear), and a sports mouthguard. We will hold an equipment swap on the first day of practice where gently used equipment is available for new players. In addition, new players can borrow a Mountain Lacrosse stick or goggles if needed.

Additional Notes: Fall ball is a "light" and convenient season; weekly local sessions offer a predictable, low-cost option designed to fit with busy family schedules. The motto for fall ball is to "relax... just roll with it." Whether it's your 8th year returning to Mountain or your 1st time picking up a stick, you'll have a great time working on skills and having fun with new and returning teammates. We'll end the season celebrating girls' lacrosse with fun & competitive play and fall festivities. We hope that every Mountain girl will have a positive fall ball experience that prepares her for spring lacrosse and other sports, clubs, and activities.

This [fall season] really helps to keep my daughter involved and reinvigorates her passion to play in spring. MLAX is truly a unique and first class organization. - Parent

Mountain Lax is an incredible program. It matches skills and fun for all levels of lacrosse players. The program is inclusive and organized and prepares athletes for the next level while encouraging the love of the game. - High School Women's Head Coach

This was the best youth sports program we've ever attended! I've never seen this kind of parent participation and inclusiveness like the end-of-season games and party with the girls, it was incredible. - Parent

You have such good athletes and it's always great competition for us... I overheard a [competitor] saying the Mountain team was their favorite to play because the girls were so nice. - Competing Team Club Director
